The new release Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Cuvée de Nalys' from Kirkland Signature shows excellent value. This wine opens with aromatics of black tea, red currant, red cherry and Provençale herbs. There are medium weight flavors reminiscent of black plum, anise, pipe tobacco and red cherry. This is delicious and open wine after a one hour decant. It is exceedingly difficult to find this kind of value in this region. (Best 2016-2023) - June, 2016 (OB)
