The Pagnani Vineyard was first planted in the 1880’s then added to in the 1920’s by Felice Pagani. It is amazing that many of the older vines still produce fruit. This deep colored Zin begins with aromatics of violets, black plum, coffee grounds and blackberry jam. This leads to flavors of black cherry, dill, cedar and hints of milk chocolate. This forward style Zin is delicious straight out of the bottle. (Best 2016-2024) - May, 2016 (OB)
