The 2013 'Yakima Valley' Red Wine by Owen Roe is a fantastic value new release from this estate. This great wine is a blend of 45% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon that was aged 10 months in French oak. This red wine starts with bright aromas of red cherry, sage, red bell pepper and anise. This leads to smooth flavors of red bell pepper, anise, cassis and blackberry jam. I see some really nice cellaring potential here. (Best 2016-2026) - August, 2016 (OB)
