The 2012 Renato Corino 'Rocche dell'Annunziata' is one of the most compelling wines from this vintage. This dazzling wine instantly bursts open with seductive aromas of, ripe cherries and freshly sliced strawberries woven together with sweet spices, spring florals, minerals and hints of white truffle which all come together beautifully in the glass. It continues to impress with its striking purity, elegance and finesse, along with its excellent overall balance and depth from start to finish. While this is extremely appealing today, I expect this to continue to evolve over the next decade and beyond. (Best 2017-2030) - June, 2016 (JD)
