The 2011 Caprili Brunello di Montalcino opens to pretty aromas of red berries and cherries mixed with sweet spices, floral and leather with hints of minerals. This classy Brunello is structured around fine tannins and a beautiful silky texture, which shows lovely finesse through the finish. This continues to evolve with each second in the glass and I expect to continue to do so over the course of the next decade. (Best 2017-2026) - August, 2016 (JD)
