The wine is a blend of 60% Viosinho and 40% Verdelho that was aged on mature French oak for six months prior to bottling. The wine opens with aromas of cantaloupe, green papaya, macadamia nut and hints of vanilla. There are flavors reminiscent of pink grapefruit, kiwi, starfruit and lemon starburst candy. The texture to this wine leads to a long finish. This is a gorgeous value buy out of Douro. (Best 2016-2020) - October, 2016 (OB)
