The RSM vineyard Pinot Noir comes from the higher elevation of Anderson Valley, resulting in lower yields and more intense flavor profile. This is apparent in the generous aroma that is intense and penetrating with ripe, fresh red pomegranate and wild strawberries. The palate has weight and complexity with a dense core of black cherries and dark plum followed by savory herb notes. This is a very focused and polished wine that should continue to evolve over the next decade. (Best 2016-2024) - December, 2016 (DJH)
