The 2013 ‘Cuvée Ernestine' is a lovely showing from the vintage. Composed of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this instantly opens to pretty aromatics of orchard fruits, lemon zest, chalky minerals, toast and hazelnuts. On the palate everything comes together beautifully, as it is supported by a crisp mousse, while remaining beautifully balanced with notable energy and focus through the gorgeous finish. This is simply delicious now and should continue to drink well over the next 5-7 years. (Best 2017-2023) - February, 2017 (JD)
