The Fonte Lattaia Cru is situated on the southwestern slopes and at a lower altitude than Pian Bossolino where the climate is slightly warmer and consists of a unique terroir of marine deposits and clay. The wine itself is sensational, as it instantly opens with aromas of spices, minerals and hints of eucalyptus wrapped around pretty red fruits. On the palate this demonstrates remarkable balance and finesse with a gorgeous ultra-silky texture leaning into the soft, velvety finish that lingers on and on.
