The 2013 'San Lorenzo' is a classy Barolo which is impressive for its fresh, yet refined character. It opens to lovely aromas of red berries, strawberries, dried floral, herbs and spices, which soar from the glass. On the palate this is well balanced and nicely structured around a silky tannins which expand on to the lingering finish. Overall, this is a lovely effort which will be accessible relitivly early, but will also age nicely over the next few years. (Best 2018-2026) - March, 2017 (JD)
