The 2012 'Biserno' is a marvelous blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot which opens to exotic aromas of blackberries, cassis, toast, graphite, smoke, sweet spices, tar and spring florals all soaring from the glass. Full-bodied and voluptuous, with muscular tannins which are round and polished. Continues to display remarkable concentration and power as it expands on to the long finish where gorgeous dark fruits, spices, herbs and toasty flavors lingering on and on. Today, this is already extremely appealing, however it will ultimately show its best after a few more years of bottle age. (Best 2019-2032) - March, 2017 (JD)
