The 2015 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir features two of the Big Table Farm pigs, 'Kirby' and ‘Pickle.’ Sourced from eight different sites for Pinot Noir and needing some air contact to begin to show their full aromatic expression, the wine is eventually awakened with aromatics of ripe guava, strawberries, red cherries, pomegranate seed and fennel along with loganberry accents. The intoxicating aromatics bring you back to the glass for more. On the palate the wine is currently showing ripe flavors of red cherry, loganberry, pomegranate seed, Mandarin orange rind and suggestions of baking spices. This fruity and beautifully structured Pinot Noir is a simply remarkable effort by Brig Table Farm and winemaker Brian Marcy. (Best 2017-2027) - April, 2017 (OB)
