The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape blanc is a simply gorgeous 100% Roussanne from Jean Marc Diffonty. As this elegant blanc slowly begins to unwind it releases pretty aromatics of white peach, Asian pear, dusty minerals, white flowers and hints of tangerine zest, which all begin to take shape. On the palate this displays remarkable focus with excellent overall balance and a beautiful round mouthfeel. While the quality is already quite apparent, this has yet to reach its full potential, as it will certainly continue to evolve and take on even more character with time.
