Sourced from the La Rosa Vineyard in Serralunga, this is a classic style of Barolo, which opens to fresh aromas of strawberries and red cherries woven together with roses, spices and a subtle hint of cedar which slow begin to emerge from the glass. This is a well balanced and firmly structured with fine tannins and a tannic core, centered in the middle of bright red fruits and spicy notes, which grip a firm hold on the finish. While this is currently showing lovely characteristics, it is ultimately a bit restraint at the moment, and will benefit with additional bottle age to soften and gain some secondary characteristics.
