PHILIPPE PRIÉ Champagne Brut 'Black Flowers' 2012

The 2012 'Black Flowers Cuvèe' is a simply gorgeous Champagne from Philippe Prié. Made from equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this opens to inviting aromatics of orchard fruits and lemon zest woven together with minerals and toast nuances. This continues to impress on the palate with its lovely balance and concentration, backed by a gorgeous caressing mousse. The combination of ripe orchard fruits and minerality is impressive, as it continues on through the finish. This is an absolutely delightful bottle of Champagne which will be accessible early on. Disgorged: December, 2016 (Best 2017-2022) - July, 2017 (JD)
