This unoaked Chardonnay is sourced from Monterey County and was aged in both stainless steel and small concrete tanks. It begins with aromatics of ripe peach, Golden Delicious apple, crème brûlée and nutmeg. The bouquet is lovely, bordering on exotic. It continues to impress on the palate as flavors of crème brûlée, white peach, marzipan and brioche are lifited by mouthwatering acidity. Delicious now and should continue to provide pleasure over the next handful of years. (Best 2017-2024) - July, 2017 (OB)
