Sourced from the 3.2 acre Tribe Vineyard, this outstanding Syrah begins with inviting aromatics reminiscent of ripe blackberries, wild boysenberry liquor, smoked brisket, black olives, creosote and blood orange, which also mirror on the palate. There is a wonderful freshness and intensity as this remains beautifully balanced and structured. The finish vividly highlights the stony character of the vineyard in combination with ripe dark fruits. Overall, this is another sensational effort by the talented winemaking team at Cayuse.
