The 2015 'Foothills Reserve' Syrah is another stunning wine from Matt Reynvaan in this vintage. This Syrah was aged in 30% French oak prior to bottling and results in a gorgeous wine with deep core, showing off captivating aromas of black cherry preserves, iron, orange rind, Asian spices, black olives all taking shape in the glass. The texture is absolutely stunning, as the wine glides effortlessly along the palate leaving flavors of black tea, black blood orange, olive tapenade, cigar box, black cherry pie as well as wild blackberry pie.
