The 2014 ‘Ellie’s’ Cabernet Sauvignon begins with deep aromas of crème de cassis, red bell pepper, anise and mocha with a graphite edge. The palate showcases remarkable depth, with flavors of red bell pepper, mocha, sweet pipe tobacco and crème de cassis. This remains beautifully concentrated with a core of ripe sweet fruits, which accentuate the finish. Overall this is a simply outstanding effort which displays plenty of power, combined with a wonderful sense of place and purity of fruit. (Best 2017-2030) - August, 2017 (OB)
