The 2014 Estate Chardonnay from Grgich Hills is a wonderful showing in this vintage. It bursts open with exotic aromas of Asian pear, white peach, lemon oil, tangerine blossom, flint and wet stones. Classically styled, this gorgeous Chardonnay is well-balanced, with a lovely combination of ripe fruit and racy acidity through the crisp, vivid finish. Overall, this is a fantastic wine, which is extreamly appealing and drinking excellent now. (Best 2017-2023) - September, 2017 (OB)
