A fantastic Chardonnay from Charles Smith, who sources this Chardonnay from the Frenchman Hills vineyard, which was planted in 1998 and is located roughly 30 miles north of the Wahluke Slope. The Frenchman Hills Vineyard is a cooler site due to the high elevation (1650 feet). The wine begins with lovely aromatics of orchard fruits, ripe banana and vanilla cream.
