DOMAINE SERENE Pinot Noir, Two Barns Vineyard 2014

The 2014 Two Barns Vineyard Pinot Noir is a standout effort from the talented winemaking team at Domaine Serene. This Pinot Noir was aged for 18 months in 59% new French oak prior to bottling. Opening with a bouquet primarily of red fruits and wet earth which fold in hints of black truffle and suggestions of spicebox. On the palate this wine shows off a beautiful silky texture and round mouthfeel focused around a core of bright red cherries and red raspberries, underlined by lovely mineral characteristics. The texture and mouthfeel continue to impress through the sleek finish. (Best 2017-2027) - October, 2017 (OB)
