The 2015 Château Abelyce Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is a fantastic blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from by Amélie Aubert. It opens to gorgeous aromas of blackberries and cassis, along with fresh spring floral, graphite and spices, all coming together in the glass. On the palate this possesses remarkable overall balance and a lovely velvety texture, which leads into the long, expansive finish. This already offers some early appeal, and should continue to age for gracefully for years to come. (Best 2019-2027) - October, 2017 (JD)
