The 2014 Badine De La Patache slowly opens to inviting aromas of ripe cherries followed by violets, spcies, tobacco and hints of roasted coffee. Medium-bodied and well balanced, supported by a lovely silky texture which persists through the lingering finish. Today this is already shows some appealing characteristics, but I expect it to be at its best with just another year or two of cellaring. (Best 2018-2023) - October, 2017 (JD)
