The Les Hautes Brusquières is a truly sensational showing and one of the most compelling wines from the vintage. As this begins to unwind it releases gorgeous aromas of beautifully ripe blackberries and raspberries come together with violets, sweet spices, wet stones, licorice and subtle hints smoky mesquite nuances all taking shape. This is all about purity and finesse, as it is beautifully textured with gorgeous round silky tannins that glide effortlessly across the palate. The overall depth, focus and precision are simply incredible as beautiful ripe fruits expand seamlessly through the long finish. While this is absolutely sensational now, it will only become more compelling as it evolves over time. (Best 2019-2035) - December, 2017 (JD)
