The 2014 Chateau Pérenne opens to aromas of dark cherries and plums which are woven together with tobacco spices and pain grille. Medium-bodied with a lovely plush texture and wonderful underlying acidity keeping it fresh and inviting through the long finish. This is already showing quite well and I expected to continue to drink well over the next few years (Best 2017-2025) - December, 2017 (JD)
