The 2015 La Colombaia Valpolicella Ripasso opens to aromas of blackberries and dark plums which are woven together with spices, black tea, licorice and wet stones all taking shape. This medium-bodied red is well balanced and offers a lovely texture with wonderful underlying acidity providing a wonderful fresh character, which continues through the long, juicy finish.
