Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a fantastic showing in this vintage. This begins with pretty aromatics of raspberries and dark plums, woven together with fresh florals, smoke, orange zest and exotic spices all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this impresses with its gorgeous texture and wonderful overall concentration and depth. It displays remarkable balance and finesse through the long, juicy finish. While this is delightful now, it will surely evolve gracefully for years to come.
