The 2015 'La Bernardine' is another fantastic showing in this vintage from Chapoutier. Aromatics of raspberries and blackberries come together with roasted meats, pepper, minerals and savory nuances which fill the glass. On the palate this possesses a lovely soft, round texture with excellent overall balance and finesse through the mineral laced finish. While this is accessible now, it should also continue to take on even more complexity with bottle age.
