The 2013 'Vigna del Fiore' is a traditional style Brunello from one of the most Eastern and oldest vineyard sites in the Brunello zone. It opens with aromas of red berries and cherries that come together with spices, anise, floral and minerals. On the palate this is medium-bodied and structured around fine tannins, which are backed by a core of spices and red berries that lead up to the long finish. A fine showing, but will need a bit of time before it hits its stride.
