The 2015 Orma is a stunning wine. The blend consists of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and it begins with gorgeous aromas of red currants and crème de cassis which are woven together with exotic spices, tobacco, smoke and fresh cut florals. On the palate this possesses a medium-full body with a wonderful elegant character along with outstanding depth and concentration. It continues to impress with outstanding overall balance and a lovely finessed mouthfeel, which leads into the long, velvety finish. This is a fabulous wine which will only become more compelling as it evolves over the course of the next decade.
