The 2014 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is another absolute gem from winemaker Chris Carpenter in this vintage. It begins with inviting aromatics of ripe blackberries, crème de cassis and blueberries that come together with graphite florals and sweet spices. On the palate this is full-bodied, layerd and voluptuous with incredible overall balance and finesse. The finish is long and seamless, leaving behind beautiful ripe dark fruits lingering on. An absolutely sensational wine, which is already showing impeccably well and also possesses the characteristics for a long graceful evolution.
