The '1886' Cabernet Sauvignon from Ehlers begins with inviting aromas of red currants and plums woven together with graphite, licorice, tobacco, wet stones and hints of fresh cut floral which all take shape in this pretty Cabernet Sauvignon. This possesses a medium-full body with silky, polished tannins making for a gorgeous refined mouthfeel. It continues to impress with its seamless texture and lovely finesse through the finish. A wonderful Cabernet to approach early on, or cellar for a few years.
