This fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega is sourced from the Drew vineyard, located on Mt. Veeder. It begins with seductive aromatics of ripe dark currants and black cherries which are woven together with spices, graphite, spring floral and a stony soil character. On the palate this possesses a full body with a gorgeous inviting plush texture that envelops the palate. The tannins are nicely integrated and provide enough structure to keep it all beautifully in place. It continues to impress with remarkable depth and concentration, delivering a generous mouthful of delicious flavors of ripe dark fruits, spices and graphite which expand through the long, layered finish. While this is already extremely appealing it also looks to have a wonderful future ahead.
