The 2015 Argento Bonarda impresses with concentrated flavors and ripe aromatics. This rich and dense colored wine begins with a bouquet of creosote, black tea, black plum and roasted dates with coffee grounds. There are bold flavors of blackberry pie, black tea, anise and a lively minerality. This is a very solid value that would pair marvelously with a range of smoked meats.
