This excellent Malbec wine is sourced from vineyards set at 3,500 feet, planted by Domingo Fazzio, in the Uco Valley. This wine begins with rich aromatics reminiscent of violets, black cherry, mocha, black currant and sandalwood accents. This leads to flavors of boysenberry cobbler, black cherry cough syrup, coffee grounds and suggestions of mint. This has lovely weight and persistence. (Best 2017-2025) - April, 2017 (OB)
