The 2016 'Bin 407' Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a host of AVAs including Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Wrattonbully and Padthaway and was aged for 12 months in French oak prior to bottling. The nose is quite seductive, with blackberry cobbler, brandy soaked black cherry and cigar ash notes all soaring from the glass. There is a wonderful freshn character to this rich wine, which also that reveals a gorgoeus soft mouthfeel. The acidity combines nicely with rich dark fruits as this leaves a wonderful lasting impression. This should go on to age nicely, however it is already impressive at this stage.
