The Nikolaihof 'Hefeabzug', which means aged on the lees or yeast, is a fantastic and classic example of Grüner Veltliner from the Wachau. It displays lovely aromas of citrus, quince, smoke, saline, mineral and lilacs. Very intense with high acidity and great minerality. This is remains focused and pure with great texture and flavor all the way through the bright finish. A great entry into Nikolaihof's brilliant Wines. (Best 2015-2020) - March, 2015 (MD)
