The 2015 Château Franc Patarabet Saint-Emilion Grand Cru begins inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums which are woven together with tobacco, leather, spices and earthy nuances that all take shape in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a nice touch of underlying acidity and framed by a sleek texture that leads up to the finish. This is accessible today and should continue to drink nicely over the course of the next decade. 100% Merlot.
