The 2020 Chateau Yon Figeac delivers pretty aromas of dark cherries, currants and plums which come together with Asian spices, tobacco, florals and herbs that all take shape beautifully. On the palate this is medium-bodied, with notable overall balance and a wonderful silky texture that leads into the elegant finish. This is delightful now and should continue to develop beautifully over the next few years.
