CHÂTEAU LA COUSPAUDE Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2011

The Château la Couspaude is a tremendous effort in what is considered a difficult vintage and certainly one of the nicer surprises in 2011. It impresses with it's pure character along with lovely aromas of dark cherries, blackberry, plum, asian spice, floral and licorice, which burst from the glass. I really love the focus, excellent structure and long polished finish that this delivers. Composed of Merlot with a percentage of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
