The 2012 Chateau Tour Peyronneau is a sensational showing composed of mainly Merlot with just a touch of Cabernet Franc. It offers a ripe, forward style with seductive aromas of black cherries, dark currants, spices and minerals which resonate through the wine. On the palate this is plush and layered, leaving behind a mouthful of delicious dark fruits lingering. Today, this is showing well and it should continue to do so over the next few years.
