DOMAINES BARONS DE ROTHSCHILD (LAFITE) Saint-Émilion 'Réserve Spéciale’ 2012

The Domaines Barons de Rothschild Saint-Émilion 'Réserve Spéciale' is a composed of mainly Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc. It offers appealing characteristics of ripe cherries and blackberries along with spices, fresh turned earth, tobacco and hints of coffee. On the palate it is nicely balanced and structured with soft, round tannins which carry over effortlessly onto the velvety finish which leaves behind red fruits and tobacco. This will be best upon release and should contunie to show well over the next few years. (Best 2015-2018) - July, 2015 (JD)
