The 2012 Château Pavillon Bigaroux opens with inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums woven together with roasted savory notes, spices and toast. The medium to full body is nicely textured with soft, velvety tannins and shows notable balance as flavors of roasted plum, spices and minerals linger on the finish. A solid wine from the vintage which should continue to drink well over the next 5-7 years. (Best 2017-2024) - January, 2017 (JD)
