The 2015 Château Lalande de Gravet is an excellent showing in this vintage. It opens to lovely aromas of ripe blackberries and dark cherries which connect with spices, graphite, toast and earthy nuances. This medium-full bodied red is well structured and balanced, focused around a core of dark fruits and spices which expand on to the long finish. This will age beautifully over the next few years, however it is also an excellent wine to approach early on. (Best 2018-2024) - October, 2017 (JD)
