TERRE DU LION Saint-Julien 2010

The Terre du Lion brings intense aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, dark cherries, pain grille, spices, tobacco, espresso and hints of black licorice and stony minerals. The medium to full body is velvety and balanced with more black cherries, dark toast and spices working their way into the long finish. The blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc is nearly approachable now, but give it a few more years before it will be at its best. (Best 2015-2025) - January, 2014 (JD)
