The 2014 Terre du Lion is a fantastic showing in this vintage. This elegant Saint-Julien is focused around gorgeous aromas of blackberries and red fruits woven together with tobacco, spices, spring floral with hints of toast. On the palate this is beautifully balanced, driven by a lovely layer of underlying acidity at its core. Everything comes together gracefully on the silky finish where red and black fruits continue to linger on. This is already showing so much, but has the potential to be even better with some bottle age. (Best 2017-2025) - August, 2016 (JD)
