The 2012 Château la Croix de Mouchet is an solid effoet in this vintage. It opens with aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, tobacco, pain grille and wet stones. This medium to full-bodied red possesses a soft, velvety texture and a lovely touch of underlying acidity leading up to the finish. This is accessible now and will continue to drink well over the next few years. Excellent value. (Best 2016-2019) - April, 2016 (JD)
