The 2017 Dauprat Pauillac opens with pretty aromas of blackberries and red plums, which are woven together with spices, tobacco and hints of crushed stones all coming together in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well balanced with a silky texture that continues through the finish, where blackberries and spices continue to linger on. Allow this another year in bottle to flesh out a bit more.
