With a medium ruby-purple core and a lighter blue rim, the 2020 Les Renardes Grand Cru Corton shines at every turn. Gorgeous aromas of dark cherries and mulberry-like fruit which play perfectly alongside shades of forest floor, pencil shavings, graphite, violets, and toasted herbs. Wonderfully complex, the nose keeps you coming back time and time again. The mid-palate is incredible, with polished tannins and integrated lemony acidity. This will be a fun one to taste over the next 10-15 years to see how it evolves. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
